Are you looking for an outdoor activity with tons of local history right here in Wake Forest, NC?  Don’t miss visiting Rockcliff Farm on Saturday, April 8th 2017 anytime between 10:00am to 3:00pm to explore the history and beauty of this unique land on Falls Lake.

BW Wells Heritage Day – Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Learn about the pioneer ecologist and early botanist of North Carolina by visiting his retirement home at Falls Lake.  Learn about 19th century farm life; take a walk to look at the geology or wildflowers; hike to Zeagle’s Rock; participate in an activity about plants; learn about B.W. Wells through ecological games.

Zeagle’s Rock Loop Trail Hike!

Hike from historic Rock Cliff Farm out to one of the prettiest overlooks at Falls Lake, Zeagle’s Rock. This site is reserved for guided tours only.  After the hike stay for our heritage day festival with tours, games, crafts and more. Bring water and wear closed-toe shoes. Hike NC!
